Recently, David Platt was elected at the president of the International Mission Board. Collin Hansen recently reported on Platt’s last Sunday as senior pastor of The Church at Brook Hills. In God’s providence, before the announcement of his new position Platt’s preaching schedule brought him to preach an overview of Romans–a letter he sees as the greatest mission support letter ever written. The sermons preached after the announcement flow naturally from those Romans messages and are vintage Platt. More than that, they provide biblical and practical encouragement for disciples wanting to more faithfully pursue the task of making disciples for the glory of Christ.
